Jodhpur boots are ankle-high boots usually worn with jodhpurs for horse riding and stable duties. They are an alternative to the more traditional, long riding boots that can be quite restrictive and become uncomfortably warm after lengthy riding expeditions.

Jodhpur boots are often made from the finest leather with cushioned insoles for maximum comfort and specially shaped outsoles for stepping in and out of the stirrup with ease. They can be distinguished by their trademark elasticated side gusset which makes donning and doffing easy.

This style of riding boot is usually worn for less formal equestrian activities such as horse riding lessons, hacks and treks. However, jodhpur boots are becoming increasingly accepted attire, along side classic long riding boots, for competitors in horse shows and dressage competitions.
