Advice on how to find get the perfect fit from your Brogini riding boots

Whether you have just taken up horse riding or you have been part of the equestrian community for many years, it is vital that you have the proper clothing and equipment for the type of riding that you are doing.  This way you can ride with the knowledge that you are enjoying your pastime in the best comfort and safety possible.

Riding boots are one such vital part of your horse equipment.  They have a heel which is specially designed to prevent your foot from slipping out the stirrups and many also have a sole that offers extra grip.  Also, the vast majority of horse shows require you to wear long riding boots or jodhpur boots and gaiters so they are a must if you want to ride competitively.
It can be difficult to find riding boots, especially long riding boots, which are comfortable.  Many horse riders have problems with rubbing around the backs of their knees, although some of these issues may be resolved once leather riding boots have been worn in.  However, many people continue to suffer discomfort from their long boots even after the leather has softened up through the initial wearing-in period.

Fortunately, horse riding enthusiasts are offered a solution in the form of Brogini riding boots.  Both the boots themselves and the precise method of fitting them mean that many people find Brogini boots far more comfortable than others they have tried.

How to fit Brogini riding boots
Brogini riding boots are made from very fine leather of either Italian or French origin, depending upon the model.  It is both the ergonomic design of these boots and the luxurious leather which make them so wonderfully comfy.  If maintained as advised, Brogini boots will keep this exceptional level of comfort ride after ride, year after year.

However, it is important when ordering your Brogini riding boots that you select the perfect size for you.  Any boots which are too loose may well rub or flap around ineffectively, whilst boots which are too tight may cause much discomfort and difficulty when putting them on and removing them.

There are three steps to finding the ideal size of Brogini riding boot as there are three measurements which you must take: leg height, calf size and foot size.

1.    Firstly, you must take your leg height.  This can be done by sitting on a chair and placing your foot flat on the floor – remember to take your shoes off.  Then you should measure in centimeters the distance from where your heel meets the floor to the crease of your knee.  This will give you your leg height.

2.    Secondly, you must find out your calf size.  As the measurement may be distorted if you try to take it yourself, it is advisable to get a friend to do it for you.  You should ask them to measure the widest part of your calf and note this down in centimeters.

3.    The final measurement is your foot size, which is the same as your normal shoe size.

Once you have all three measurements, you are ready to place an order for one of Brogini's sumptuous long leather riding boots.
