The new LAS ridng helmets have certainly been taking the world by storm, being the choice of world class riders such as Laura Renwick, Paul Schockemohle, Edwina Alexander and Dirk Demeersman. The new helmets even appeared on the Horse and Hound cover worn by nation’s cup rider Tina Fletcher, showing their rise in popularity over the last few years.

LAS helmets were founded back in 1974 in Pedrengo, Italy.  They originally produced protective helmets for sports such as canoeing, rafting, kayaking, climbing, delta plane and skating to name a few. LAS then moved into the equestrian sector, bringing exactly what riders want; a lightweight, sporty style helmet with the option of having a more individual and trendy look.  LAS have cleverly kept both style and safety as the two key aspects in the build and looks of each of their riding hats; they all have the European EN1384 safety standard.

LAS helmets come in many different styles, the most popular being the LAS XT VIP Leather and the LAS XT VIP Reptile models, which features a leather or Reptile leather front panels.  Both these models also come in a Swarovski crystal option, brilliant for the rider who wants a bit of ‘bling’!
