Horse rugs, saddles and feeding bins were among the many pieces of equestrian equipment stolen in a spate of thefts being investigated by UK police.
Senior officers have been appealing for help from the public to track down the criminals and they are warning horse and stable owners to keep equestrian areas secure.
Thieves targeted horse lovers in Northumberland, attempting break-ins at various stables, livery yards and farms.
Anyone with information about these and other equestrian crimes, or who is suspicious about being offered cheap horse rugs or other equestrian equipment, can contact their local police station. To remain anonymous, members of the public can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
