With immaculate horse tack and looking confident and composed as he entered the arena, Edward Gal was set to perform something amazing on nine-year-old Moorlands Totilas at the Alltech FEI European Jumping and Dressage Championships at Windsor.
The handsome black stallion has been wowing crowds and judges alike as he smashed his own world record at Windsor to gain 90.70% and the Freestyle gold medal.
With his coat gleaming to perfection from hours of grooming and looking very relaxed in his, dressage bridle, the stallion completed his piaffes and the passage with elegance and ease helping him secure an outstanding 29 perfect 10 scores.
His rider Edward Gal said of his performance, "He feels so good you cannot describe it."
Grand Prix special winners Adelinde Cornelissen and Parzival had to be content with second place on 87.35%, while Anky Van Grunsven and Salinero's performance landed them in third place on 87.25%.
Dropping the reins, Gal gave Totilas a well deserved pat after his winning performance. Certainly the gold medal would have more than made up for all the horse tack cleaning done for the show.
