Oliver Townend had his Gatehouse HS1 firmly back in place to win the FEI World Cup event at Tattersalls last week.
Paired with Ashdale Cruise Master, the pair put their disastrous Kentucky Rolex experience behind them to produce an unbeatable round at the Irish event.

The win came just five weeks after Oliver's rotational fall at Kentucky. Despite his horse landing on him, Townend managed to come out from the fall relatively unscathed thanks to his Point 2 Air Jacket and body protector.

However the broken ribs he suffered left him out of the running for Badminton where he had his 2009 win on Flint Curtis.

Speaking of his Tattersalls victory, the 27-year-old said, "I now just want to put the fall behind me. He's an unbelievable horse and is progressing all the time."

Fellow Brit Mary King, who also is known for wearing a Gatehouse HS1, came in second place on Apache Sauce while Michael Ryan from Ireland was best on the home side with a third placing on Ballylynch Adventure.
