Willie Carson, the retired Jockey turned racing presenter isn’t ready to hang up his riding boots just yet, staring in 2011’s ‘I’m a celebrity…get me out of here!’
As a well known face of racing, Willie, 68, will be celebrating his birthday in the jungle joined by the likes of The Only Way is Essex’s, Mark Wright, comedian and race horse owner, Freddie Star, American Actress Stephanie Powers and many more famous faces.
Best known for his 5ft jockey height and those famous winning riding boots, Willie has been Britain’s champion jockey five times, riding 3,882 winners throughout his career and he’s certainly not loosing his competitive edge just yet.
"I won't break down in front of the cameras either," he adds. "I would get worried about myself if I did! I have never been asked to do a reality TV show like this before and I want to have a good time." said Willie.
"I didn't have time to do anything to prepare for the jungle," he adds. "But I don't mind. I don't know what lies ahead and whether it will be the hardest thing I have ever done, but at the same time, I am not dreading anything either."
