Charles Owen, the manufacturer of many well-known horse riding safety helmets like the GR8, has announced that it is holding a safety talk for equestrians.
The horse riding safety discussion, held in Fife, will focus on riding hats, although it will also cover some aspects of the use of body protectors.
Topics that will be discussed at the Charles Owen talk include the benefits of using a riding helmet, the standards that are used to describe safety requirements, how to fit a riding hat and tips on keeping riding hats in good condition.
Equestrians who use a Charles Owen riding helmet will also be offered a hat check and fitting service.
The Charles Owen safety talk will be taking place from 7:30 on Thursday November 2nd 2006. It will be held at the DABBS function suite at Fife Riding Club.
