Standing at six feet, eight inches, or around 20hh, Remington has just pipped the old record holder Radar by about an inch.

More than 200 horses and their equestrian equipment have been rescued from the raging fires around Los Angeles. Known as the 'Station' fire, it is continuing to threaten properties and livestock in the surrounding dry hills.

After putting your horse's turnout rug on and letting them out in the field, checks for ragwort around the field should be made especially after news that councils have become lax about dealing with it.
A council in West Yorkshire has come under fire from local farmers and equestrians after they have failed to clear ragwort from public areas this year.

Now retired from wearing horse tack and being ridden, 51-year-old Scribbles is competing for the title of oldest pony in the world.
The retired Cornwall riding school pony was bought by Jill Power of Strawberry Riding School in Camborne in 1978 as a less than youthful 20-year-old. After 24 years in the horse bridle as a riding school pony, Scribbles was retired aged 44 in 2002.

Oliver Townend must have had a lucky horse saddle on after taking the Land Rover Burghley title at the weekend. After winning at Badminton in May, the top class eventer has completed the British four-star double and is now looking to continue his winning streak at Kentucky next year.
