Barbour has announced the introduction of its prestigious spring/summer 2007 collection of fine country clothing.

Its spring/summer selection is aimed at both men and women who enjoy open-air activities and who want comfortable and easy-to-wear yet fashionable outdoor clothing with a twist of classic Barbour style.

Trimmed lengths, washed fabrics and that 'special Barbour something' are all defining features of this classy collection, which includes showerproof jackets, shaped quilts and 'heritage' jackets and t-shirts.

One of the most wearable and summery members of the ladieswear range is the Barbour Riva Quilt, which is ideal for those evenings that have a slight chill in the air. Alternatively, those who are after an elegant shape and matt fabric may find the Newmarket Lightweight a perfect match with their needs.

Ladies' Barbour jackets such as the Freya jacket and the Grace jacket are both ideal for warding off summer showers, as they provide full showerproofing whilst looking fabulous in their jeans style.

The extensive Barbour clothing selection also caters for men with its slimmer, lighter range of summer wear. Fresh colours including Sea Blue and Stone have been introduced for the popular Barbour Liddesdale jacket, whilst there is also a brand new collection of showerproof, shorter styles of blouson.

The Heritage collection, which has proven its popularity in previous years, has been extended to include a new range of t-shirts and a flyweight version of the Barbour Cowen Commando motorcycle jacket.

Country enthusiasts can set off the spring/summer 2007 range of Barbour clothing with one of an extensive range of wax, leather and weathered-look bags.
