As we enter the closing months of 2006, Barbour has announced the release of its new childrenswear collection for the autumn/winter season.

The Barbour jackets included in the collection are ideal for little ones that want to feel part of the countryside and the styling is typical of this respected country clothing firm.

This autumnal range is aimed for those aged between 4 and 14 and includes the Classic Beaufort, a warm and practical Barbour waxed jacket that is perfect for all activities in all weathers.

The International Jacket, a familiar sight to many Barbour wax jacket owners, has also been scaled down to children's sizes so that the whole family can enjoy the stylish motorcycling look.

As well as these two classic jackets, the Barbour autumn/winter collection includes the Fulbourn Jacket, a flexible and versatile member of the range, and the Lightweight Beaufort, which is ideal for popping in your child's bag 'just in case'.

There is no need to worry about nippy winter days with the introduction of the Polarquilt and Liddesdale, two very warm and snug jackets which conclude the new Barbour childrenswear range.

Barbour representative Claire Saunders said of the collection:

Through popular demand from parents, we have introduced a range that's comfortable and stylish with the same functionality as its adult counterpart. The range wears and washes well so they're an excellent investment."
