The much awaited Barbour 2007 Autumn/Winter collection has finally hit country clothing stores nationwide.

Following several weeks of build up, which saw Barbour give sneak previews of its 2007 Autumn/Winter collection at the CLA Game Fair and the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe, the time has now come for the new Barbour waxed jackets and country clothing to be shown in stores throughout the UK.

The Barbour 2007 Autumn/Winter collection is characterised by sensually-fitted, detailed styles for women, and rugged tailoring for the men’s collection. Part of the signature outfits of its new women's country clothing range include the contemporary Ladies Peplum and the Double Breasted Utility jacket, as well as a feminine take on its iconic International jacket.

For the men the ‘rugged’ tailoring is evident in the blazer styles with trademark Barbour wax and quilting; the Wax Blazer and Quilt Lined Blazer reflect a definite new direction for Barbour and prove that the Barbour brand is moving with the times.

The new Barbour Autumn/Winter country clothing collection is set to redefine Barbour as a fast moving brand. It is a fine margin between innovation and separation (of Barbour purists) that Barbour now walks, and it is left up to the country clothing consumers of the coming period to show whether Barbour’s gamble has paid off.
