TV’s Noel Edmonds to step down as BHS president

After an extended presidency of three years, TV personality Noel Edmonds is to step down as president of the British Horse Society.

With a growth from 59,700 members to more than 66,500 the British Horse Society has a lot to thank Noel for.

Chairman Patrick Print stated of Mr Edmond’s contribution: “Noel is a great communicator and has really helped debunk the myth that the BHS is a stuffy and old-fashioned organisation, his forward-looking approach and total commitment have been just right for this phase in the society’s growth.”

Horse riding members of the British Horse Society are now left in the capable hands of former chairman of British Dressage, Desi Dillingham.
