The South of England Country Show is anticipated by equestriansHome -> News -> South of england equestrian and country show returnsThe 40th South of England Country Show is coming to Ardingly this year on 7-9 June 2007. Loved by equestrian enthusiasts and country folk alike, including the Patron Her Majesty the Queen, the 40th anniversary show is promised to be one of the best yet. Given that it is the year of the Cow, you can expect cattle to play a prominent part in this years show – especially the celebrated Sussex breeds. As well as cattle, there will be a number of equestrian showing classes that involve all breeds of horse including Arabs, Coloureds, Hackney, Hunters, Ponies, Heavy Horses, Cobs and Shires, as well as Show Jumping and Working Hunter classes. As well as the equestrian classes there will be all manner of animals on show including pigs, sheep, beagles, poultry, goats, foxhounds and rabbits which all represent the country, country pursuits, interests and way of life. Other equestrian attractions and displays include Dressage, Polo, an inter hunt relay as well as a number of non-equestrian displays such as the White Helmet Motorcycle Display Team, one man band and the Light Cavalry Band amongst many other interesting and varied attractions. With over 1500 trade stands there is no chance of any equestrian or country loving individual getting bored. Whether it is a new saddle or bridle you are looking for, a pair of leather boots, Wellingtons or shooting boots or perhaps it is a Barbour jacket or a new riding jacket that you want; the South of England Show will be able to cater for all your equestrian and country clothing needs.
