The Horse of the Year Show has announced it will be relocating the Caldene Arena to provide more space and offer three times as much seating for spectators.

The new showing arena is to be sited alongside the main shopping hall and will seat 1,500 people.

The director of HOYS commented: “The new arena will be wider and longer, but the infrastructure we’re putting in will make the whole experience more comfortable for everyone”.

The new layout will put the Caldene Arena right in the centre of the trade stands and alongside the Cushion Track International Arena.

As the HOYS director stated: “It’s absolutely fantastic for trade stands.”

With the Caldene Arena so close to the trade stands, it means that you can nip off between classes to get those all important items of equestrian clothing, horsey Christmas pressies or perhaps to treat your horse to a new saddle or bridle, or maybe a warm and waterproof winter rug.

With an array of showing and show jumping classes, equestrian and field sports trade stands and all the horse tack that a horse lover could ever ask for, the Horse of the Year Show and the Caldene Arena is bound to please competitor and spectator alike.
