Event rider stays in his men's breeches to set world record

Event rider Joss Gray is going to be sore in his men's breeches after his attempt to create a first-time world record for non-stop riding. Joss aims to stay in the saddle for 24 hours to raise money for two African orphans he met in South Africa.

Joss who has only just returned to riding after a nasty fall at Gatcombe last year, met the children after attending friends Mark and Marina's wedding last year. The William's are the financial guardians of the children and hope to raise money to foot the £9000 it costs to send both of the children to school for a year.

No record currently stands for the attempt which Joss plans to set on the 27th June at Alden Equicentre in Oxfordshire. He will set off at 7pm and ride 12 horses throughout the attempt. A member of the Guinness Book of Records will be at the event to keep an eye on proceedings.
No doubt Joss will be desperate to get out of his men's breeches after the attempt.
