Horse tack thieves strike in the season of good will

Home -> News -> Horse tack stolen in West Sussex

Respect for the season of good will has unfortunately been overlooked by certain citizens in a West Sussex village.

On December 4th 2007, over £15,000 of stock, including 8 tonnes of horse feed, leather riding boots, head collars, horse rugs, reins and other horse tack were stolen from Falcon Equine Feeds in Shipley, near Horsham.

The police are currently investigating CCTV footage of the break in and have thus far estimated the tack theft to have taken place between 6pm on Monday 3rd and 7.30am on Tuesday 4th December 2007.

Director of Falcon Equine Feeds, Paul Ainsworth, said the goods were worth up to £25,000.
