The spring tree in Stubben saddles is a unique design that has been created especially for use in these extraordinary pieces. It has made-to-measure dimensions and is styled so that you can be sure of superb comfort - just what you need if you spend a lot of time in the saddle.

A Stubben horse saddle adjusts to suit a riders weight perfectly. Strips of webbing attached to both ends of the saddle absorb the weight of the person, whilst the steel springs stabilise the saddle on the horses back, preventing the pommel and cantle from lifting up. These two movements ensure that when an equestrian climbs into a Stubben saddle, it will adjust to make the perfect seat.

The front arch of a Stubben tree is made from extra-strength steel. This provides both protection for your horses withers and makes certain that the saddle will stay in its proper position by its shoulders. This design ensures that your horse will find a Stubben saddle as comfortable to wear as you find it to sit in.

The stirrup bars are cunningly set into the tree of the saddle so that the buckles of the stirrup leather do not hinder the riders contact with the horse. These bars are indestructible and are guaranteed never to rust.
