We have three types of riding boots; jodhpur boots, long riding boots and alternative boots as well as an extensive range of half chaps and gaiters all hand crafted from the finest materials.

Long riding boots

Long riding boots are the most traditional choice and will protect and support your legs and ankles while riding, preventing any chafing and decreasing the likelihood of leg injury in a horse riding accident. They will also shield you from exposure to wet weather conditions which can leave your legs wet, cold and tired while your jodhpurs become caked in mud.

Jodhpur boots

Jodhpur boots are a popular alternative to traditional long riding boots. With their cushioned soles, ankle boots offer day-long comfort whether you are out horse riding or back at the stables. Honeycombed elastic gussets allow you to get your boots on and off without difficulty and hoof proof toe protection will guard your feet. Our jodhpur boots are made from the finest, quick drying leather that can be brushed clean with ease. Jodhpur boots are suitable for riding rain or shine, allowing you to move and ride in comfort.

Alternative riding boots

To compliment our range of traditional long and short riding boots, we have specially selected an alternative equestrian footwear range to provide quality choices that complement and enhance our more conventional horse riding boots.

Fantastic to wear about town or country - and often called ‘alternative riding boots'– our yard boots or 'muckers' are made from the hardest wearing materials and are triple sealed to provide extra protection. Boots such as the two-tone Tuffa Suffolk brings a stylish and refreshing change from the traditional yard boot without sacrificing on comfort or feel, making them a must for every country lover's wardrobe.

Half chaps and gaiters

If wearing jodhpur boots to ride, you may opt to wear half chaps or gaiters. Half chaps provide coverage from the knee to the ankle and then strap securely under your boots. These protect the lower leg while riding and prevent your jodhpurs from rising up while on horse back. Or you may prefer to wear gaiters which are similar to half chaps but are crafted from leather, fit flush to the leg and give the appearance of a long riding boot.
