Years of preparation by De Niro, revolutionary and the first to apply Nanotechnology to traditional materials, the Leonardo riding boot is truly the boot of the future. Modern and beautiful, this boot is handmade in Italy using combinations of traditional and new technologies to give ultimate in style, comfort and top class performance.
The inner part of the De Niro Leonardo Boot gives extreme grip, keeping increased stability in the lower leg position due to the Nano Rubber. A combination of shape and dimensions of the inner calf of the boot also contribute to the technology; giving a boot that literally creates grip onto the saddle. You may not have heard of ‘RIDE&FLY’ technology, but De Niro have crafted these boots around the system. Properties such as durability, extreme lightness, anti-slip, non-toxic and shock absorbing action are present in the sole, offering many advantages to the rider. The nanosphere molecule is water resistant and makes the sole approximately 70% lighter while being 200% superior in grip, lightness, and anti-traumatic action. De Niro has given options to have a boot with or without laces for individual style requirements, a front fastening on either style ensuring a comfortable fit due to the anatomic curve of the foot. In style options, the boot also features subtle reflective piping, helping in bad visibility. The De Niro logo is featured on the boot just below the twelve nano-holes that regulate hygienic feet by letting out sweat in the form of water vapour. WRAT (Water Resistant Advanced Treatment) technology is featured which preserves the life of the leather using water resistant treatments during the leather tannage stage, creating a protective barrier. The WRAT technology allows the boots to stay lighter in wet conditions by absorbing little water while keeping it soft and supple.
