Sergio Grasso set about changing the expectations that horse riders had for their boots and massively improving many equestrians riding experience. However, true to his ideals, he ensured that every riding boot was shaped attractively and made with impeccable workmanship.

As the years passed, his riding boots saw more and more technological developments overriding old designs. The culmination of these developments is the "ProComf" technology which now forms the sole of many Sergio Grasso riding boots.

The first aspect of ProComf technology is that of the outer sole. Made exclusively for Sergio Grasso by Vibram, these soles have a special non-slip surface. This can help both when you are riding, as it allows you to get a better grip on your stirrups, and around the yard. The rubber used in the sole is also extremely hard-wearing and sturdy.

The midsole of Sergio Grasso riding boots is made from natural leather for durability and comfort. It also contains a high tensile steel shank that has been designed especially to offer support to the arch of the horse riders foot just where it is needed.

The third aspect of ProComf technology used in Sergio Grassos riding boots is that of the complex insole. It is made from breathable latex foam which allows moisture to be wicked away. It has also got anti-bacterial properties and has activated carbons so your boots stay smelling fresh.

Additionally, the insole has a high-density gel shock absorber which reduces impact tenderness tremendously and makes these riding boots extraordinarily comfortable.
