The Fal Pro Viking has been manufactured in a special layered manner, which means under the outer 1000 denier ballistic nylon waterproof outer rug, there is a separate duvet liner which forms the main insulation. This ensures your horse stays dry and well-insulated, no matter what the weather conditions or the external temperature.

It even contains a layer of silver which has been combined into a revolutionary fabric known as X-Static. As well as its insulating properties, this material has been shown to be therapeutic, improving blood flow, and have both static reducing and anti-microbial benefits.

The Fal Pro Viking turnout rug has a waterproof, breathable outer which will protect your horse from poor weather such as snow and rain. It also has a blotting layer which serves to absorb any sweat or moisture that does form.

The fact that there are no side seams means that rubbing is reduced, whilst the matrix belt fitting offers a better fit and security.

The Viking comes in 2 different weights, a heavyweight 400g or a medium weight 200g so you can choose the particular level of protection that your horse needs over the winter months. It is also available with a detachable full neck.
